Migrations Magazine explores the changing cultural landscape of America by by chronicling the lives of immigrants in the United States.
In this inaugural issue Migrations explores the stories of immigration in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. “Art in Exile” tells the story of two writer’s exiled from their home countries who have taken up residency in Pittsburgh with the organization City of Asylum; learn more about Pittsburgh’s Somali Bantu community in “Putting Down Roots”; and “How Pittsburgh Became Italian” teaches the history of Italian immigration to Pittsburgh.
